Built on Aero Precision M5 upper and lower receivers, this large-frame AR-10 pattern rifle uses 7075-T6 forged aluminum and is finished in Kodiak Brown Cerakote on the receivers, 15 in ATLAS R-One handguard, and buffer tube. The ATLAS R-One free-float M-LOK handguard features a continuous 12 o'clock Picatinny rail with laser-engraved T-marks, and carries factory markings: ATLAS R-ONE PATENT PENDING AERO PRECISION, LLC TACOMA, WA.
The 18 in nitrided barrel uses a mid-length gas system with a .750 in low-profile adjustable gas block and midlength gas tube. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 and fitted with a two-port brake, providing compatibility with common .30-caliber accessories.
The operating system is semi-automatic, direct impingement, and includes an Aero Precision M5 bolt carrier group. Recoil is managed by an Armaspec Stealth captured-spring buffer assembly housed in an Aero Precision Kodiak Brown buffer tube. Controls are enhanced with an ambidextrous safety selector and an extended, paddle-style magazine release.
A CMC 2.5 lb single-stage flat trigger provides a light, consistent break. Furniture from Daniel Defense includes a 6-position collapsible stock with QD sling cups and a rubberized buttpad, paired with a rubber over-molded pistol grip. An M-LOK hand stop and M-LOK rail cover panels are installed on the handguard.
