The EP-22 retains the instantly recognizable Luger silhouette through its articulated, knurled toggle-link slide, yet it operates by simple blowback for rimfire reliability. The 4.5 inch steel-sleeved barrel locks into a zinc alloy (Zamak) receiver with steel liners, giving the pistol solid alignment and longevity.
West German manufacture is confirmed by the eagle/N nitro proof and "MADE IN GERMANY" export stamp. Serial number 67980, with the last three digits repeated on the takedown latch, highlights original factory assembly integrity.
