The P938 Nitron maintains the familiar controls of a scaled-down 1911, including a crisp single-action trigger, a skeletonized external hammer, and an ambidextrous manual safety. These features provide intuitive operation for shooters accustomed to cocked-and-locked carry.
Its Nitron matte-black slide is machined from stainless steel and wears deep rear cocking serrations for positive manipulation. The crowned 3-inch carbon-steel barrel supports SIG’s short-recoil, locked-breech system, contributing to reliable cycling with a wide range of 9 mm loads.
The frame is built from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and treated with a durable black hard-coat anodizing. An undercut trigger guard promotes a higher grip, while the checkered polymer grip panels aid control without adding unnecessary bulk.
