At the heart of this pistol is a 7" heavy-profile 4150V CMV steel barrel treated with a nitride finish for corrosion resistance and longevity. The 1:7 right-hand twist stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 and .223 projectiles, while standard 1/2-28 TPI threads accept a variety of muzzle devices or suppressors.
A PSA proprietary blast-forward muzzle device is pre-installed, directing gas and noise away from the shooter—an asset in confined spaces. The pistol-length gas system keeps cycling reliable, and the Carpenter 158 bolt with full-auto profile carrier is pressure-tested for durability.
Forged upper and lower receivers, both hard-coat anodized matte black, provide MIL-SPEC strength without unnecessary weight. Selector markings are clearly engraved SAFE / FIRE for intuitive operation, and the MIL-SPEC single-stage trigger offers a familiar pull.
