Llama Model XI-A 9mm Compact 1911-Style Pistol — 4.25" Barrel, Matte Blued, 8+1
This late-production Llama Model XI-A brings 1911 ergonomics to a compact, all-steel Spanish pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Built in the early 1990s, it combines a Commander-length 4.25" barrel with single-stack magazines, giving shooters a slim profile without sacrificing shootability. The matte blued finish, full-length rib, and lowered ejection port make this XI-A a practical choice for carry or range use.

The XI-A platform delivers classic 1911 single-action operation in a shorter, easier-to-carry package. The steel slide rides on a steel frame, giving the pistol a solid feel and dependable recoil management.
A matte blued finish covers both the frame and slide. The slide features a full-length rib with anti-glare serrations, rear cocking serrations, and a lowered ejection port for reliable extraction. An internal extractor keeps the exterior lines clean.
Safety is handled by a grip safety, a standard 1911 thumb safety, and a half-cock notch on the spur hammer. The grooved trigger offers a familiar pull for 1911 shooters, while checkered black polymer grip panels provide a secure hold.
Fixed iron sights consist of a front blade and a dovetail square-notch rear, yielding a snag-free profile. Spanish CIP flaming-bomb proof marks and the serial prefix A6 confirm manufacture in Spain during the early 1990s, near the end of XI-A production.
