Ruger P345 PR .45 ACP Semi-Automatic Pistol with 4.2" Barrel & Accessory Rail — 2008 Production
The Ruger P345 PR pairs the proven P-Series action with modern features like a factory single-slot accessory rail and a polymer frame. Built in 2008, it represents the final hammer-fired design in Ruger’s long-running P-Series line and offers an 8 + 1 capacity in a slim, single-stack profile. Ambidextrous safety/decocker with left-side slide stop and magazine release, multiple safety systems, and a manageable 29-ounce unloaded weight make this .45 ACP pistol notable for both collectors and shooters looking for a reliable large-bore sidearm.

What’s Included
- Ruger P345 PR pistol
- One 8-round single-stack steel magazine with witness holes
Ruger introduced the P345 in 2004 as the last evolution of its P-Series, and this PR variant adds a single-slot accessory rail for lights or lasers. The rail sits flush with the frame, preserving the pistol’s slim lines while expanding accessory options.
The 4.2-inch stainless steel barrel and blued carbon-steel slide work with Ruger’s cam-block recoil buffer to soften felt recoil. Rear cocking serrations and a loaded-chamber indicator aid quick status checks.
A glass-filled nylon polymer frame keeps weight to 29 ounces unloaded. Integral textured grip panels with Ruger phoenix medallions provide a secure hold without requiring separate grip screws.
Only the safety/decocker is ambidextrous; the slide stop and magazine release are left-side only. The slide-mounted lever functions as both safety and decocker, and the design also incorporates a magazine disconnect, keyed internal lock, and visible/tactile loaded-chamber indicator.
Low-profile three-dot sights offer a clear sight picture. The drift-adjustable rear unit allows windage tuning, while the fixed front keeps holster wear to a minimum.
