This RF-15 centers on a 16-inch 4140 CMV steel SOCOM barrel that is salt-bath nitrided for corrosion resistance and threaded 1/2×28 for muzzle devices. A 1:7 twist stabilizes common 55- to 77-grain 5.56mm projectiles.
The mid-length gas system uses a low-profile block to maintain reliability while reducing recoil impulse. Surrounding it is Radical’s 15-inch free-float MHR rail with continuous Picatinny top rail and M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, giving ample real estate for optics, lights, and bipods.
Both upper and lower receivers are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and protected by a Type III hard-coat anodized finish. The lower is marked “MULTI” for caliber flexibility and carries the manufacturer’s CAGE code 7CBZ3.
The rifle ships with a six-position collapsible polymer stock, an A2-style pistol grip, and a manual safety selector. With five included magazines—plus an extra 40-rounder—it is range-ready on arrival.
