This Primary Weapon Systems MK111 MOD 2-M upper combines the company’s proven long-stroke gas piston system with a compact 11 inch PicLok handguard and a match-grade .223 Wylde barrel. Built from hard-anodised 7075-T6 aluminium and 416R stainless steel, it delivers reliability, corrosion resistance, and compatibility with any mil-spec AR-15 lower.

The MOD 2-M series uses a slick-side forged upper that deletes the forward assist, reducing weight and snag points while retaining a captive dust cover for debris protection.
PWS’s long-stroke piston operates with a three-position adjustable gas regulator, letting the user tune the system for unsuppressed, suppressed, or adverse conditions without tools.
The 11.85 in* 416R stainless barrel is QPQ-nitride treated inside and out, giving it excellent surface hardness and corrosion resistance. A 1:8 RH twist stabilizes a wide range of .223 Rem and 5.56 NATO bullet weights, while the .223 Wylde chamber maximizes accuracy with both.
A free-float 11 in PicLok handguard blends full-length Picatinny rail with M-LOK slots and integral QD sling sockets, providing flexible mounting for optics and accessories.
The upper weighs just 3 lb 6 oz bare and measures approximately 20.7 in overall, making it a balanced choice for lightweight builds that still demand piston-driven durability.
