The heart of this rifle is Winchester’s controlled-round-feed long action with a full-length claw extractor, engineered to feed and eject reliably under demanding conditions.
A 25-inch, cold-hammer-forged steel barrel is free-floating and finished with a recessed crown, helping maintain accuracy and protecting the rifling from damage.
Express iron sights come standard: a hooded brass-bead front sight and a folding shallow-V rear sight, providing a fast, intuitive sight picture without optics.
The satin walnut stock incorporates a Monte Carlo comb, shadow-line cheek-ridge, cut checkering, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, delivering a 13.75-inch length of pull and manageable recoil in an 8 lb 8 oz package.
Winchester’s adjustable M.O.A. single-stage trigger and three-position wing safety round out the package, while the drilled-and-tapped receiver gives you immediate scope-mount flexibility.
