This Rock Island Armory M1911 A2 FS Tactical II delivers the proven 1911 platform in a double-stack, 10mm package. Built on RIA’s proprietary A2 frame, it offers 14-round capacity, a full-size 5-inch barrel, and Series-70 internals. Factory tactical upgrades—fiber-optic front sight, fully adjustable rear, ambidextrous thumb safety, and skeletonized trigger and hammer—give the shooter a ready-to-run sidearm that stands out for firepower and shootability.

The A2 frame widens the traditional 1911 grip just enough to house a 14-round double-stack magazine while keeping familiar 1911 ergonomics. An integral flared magazine well speeds reloads without adding bulk.
The 5-inch carbon-steel barrel is paired with a full-length guide rod and Series-70 fire-control system, preserving the classic 1911 trigger feel without a firing-pin block. The skeletonized trigger includes an over-travel adjustment screw for a clean, repeatable break.
A matte grey Parkerized finish covers both slide and frame, providing a non-reflective, corrosion-resistant surface ideal for hard use. Textured black synthetic panels offer a secure grasp in all conditions.
Target-oriented sights feature a bright fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable LPA-style rear, allowing precise elevation and windage tuning for full-power 10mm loads. Ambidextrous thumb safeties and a grip safety give familiar 1911 controls to both right- and left-handed shooters.
Designed for reliability with modern 10mm ammunition, the pistol accepts Mec-Gar / CZ-pattern magazines and ships with a spare recoil spring so the owner can tailor the setup to different load pressures.
