What's Included
- Dan Wesson factory hard case (black polymer)
- 2 × 7-round stainless Dan Wesson 1911 magazines
- Factory test-fired .45 ACP casing in labeled envelope
Built on a forged aluminum alloy frame, the CCO weighs less than a steel Commander while retaining the same 4.25-inch sight radius. The frame is finished in black anodizing, complementing the black nitride slide for a uniform, corrosion-resistant exterior.
The match-grade stainless steel barrel and bushing provide tight lock-up and consistent accuracy. Rear cocking serrations and a lowered, flared ejection port support reliable manipulation and ejection.
Carry-oriented features include a bobtail mainspring housing with chain-link texture, single-sided thumb safety, and skeletonized hammer and trigger for a crisp pull. Series 70 internals omit the firing-pin block, maintaining a traditional 1911 trigger feel.
Novak-pattern tritium night sights—Trijicon front and a two-dot tritium rear—deliver clear, low-light sight pictures. Shadow cocobolo grip panels with stippled inserts and DW medallions provide a secure, attractive purchase.
