The 4.5-inch hammer-forged, Melonite-treated barrel is match-grade for enhanced consistency and service life, while the 1:16 twist rate is optimized for common .40 S&W bullet weights.
A red fiber-optic front sight teams with a low-profile two-dot rear to offer a bright, quick sight picture in varied lighting conditions. Both sights are steel for durability, and the rear unit is drift-adjustable for windage.
The polymer frame integrates aggressive texturing and three interchangeable backstraps, letting shooters tailor grip circumference without tools. A molded accessory rail accepts lights or lasers.
Safety is handled by an articulated trigger safety, passive grip safety, internal striker block, loaded-chamber indicator, and external striker-status indicator—providing multiple visual and tactile checks without manual levers.
