The long slide extends sight radius to 8.07 inches, giving competitors a clear edge when lining up the adjustable polymer sights. A machined lightening window in the top of the slide reduces weight, allowing faster return to battery and flatter tracking in rapid strings.
Inside, the Tenifer-treated 6.02-inch barrel uses Glock’s polygonal rifling for excellent gas seal and ease of cleaning. The bore is mirror-bright, and the barrel, slide, and frame all share matching prefix “SCR336,” confirming factory originality.
The Gen 3 frame combines glass-fiber-reinforced polymer construction with integral accessory rails. Glock’s Safe Action system, trigger safety, and 4.5-lb connector deliver a crisp, consistent pull that many competitors prefer straight from the box.
