What’s Included
- Euroarms London Armory Model 1861 Pattern 1853 Type IV 3-Band rifle-musket
Euroarms built this full-length, .58 caliber rifle-musket to the Type IV Enfield pattern, complete with a progressive 3-groove 1:72 twist barrel proofed for 3½ drams of black powder. The 38" blued steel barrel is topped with an iron blade front sight and a ladder rear sight graduated to 900 yards, mirroring the original British military setup.
The color-case-hardened lock plate and external side hammer deliver traditional aesthetics while housing a reliable percussion ignition system. Brass buttplate, trigger guard, and nose cap add period-correct contrast against the oil-finished walnut stock.
Italian proof marks and the "EUROARMS OF AMERICA" import stamp confirm factory origin and compliance, while serial number 28388 places production before Euroarms ceased operations in 2011—details collectors often seek.
With its full-size 14" length of pull, straight-grip walnut stock, and historically faithful hardware, this rifle-musket offers an authentic shooting experience for black-powder matches, living-history events, or display.
