The heart of this rifle is its 28-inch, 15/16"-across-flats octagonal barrel cut from 4140 blued steel. The 1:48 twist rate provides versatility with both round ball and conical projectiles, while the hooked breech lets the shooter remove the barrel quickly for thorough cleaning.
A color case-hardened lock plate carries crisp scroll engraving, adding period-correct detail without sacrificing durability. The external hammer ignites a standard flintlock, giving traditional spark-reliability backed by modern metallurgy.
