The FSAAP FR-9 combines the familiarity of an AR platform with the economy and recoil control of the 9 mm Luger cartridge. Built on a billet-machined receiver set and finished in matte black hard-coat anodizing, this semi-automatic blowback rifle accepts widely available Glock-pattern magazines and comes ready for optics, accessories, and suppressor use.

The FR-9 uses a simple direct blowback action paired with a 16-inch 4150 CMV/4140 steel barrel that is threaded at the muzzle for devices or suppressors. A 1:10" right-hand twist stabilizes the full range of common 9 mm bullet weights.
Both upper and lower receivers are precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum billet, featuring an integral flared magazine well for faster reloads and an oversized trigger guard for gloved use. The lower is dedicated and clearly marked “FR-9,” ensuring proper magazine and component fit.
A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard and full-length Picatinny top rail provide ample space for optics, lights, and other accessories without adding unnecessary weight. Standard AR-style controls—charging handle, magazine release, and left-side safety selector—keep operation intuitive for anyone familiar with the platform.
