Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight 12 Gauge Pump Shotgun, 30" Roto-Forged Full Choke, Factory Engraved – 1967
Made in 1967, this Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight pairs the line’s trademark bottom-eject action with factory roll-engraved game scenes, a 30-inch Roto-Forged barrel, and the bright Raybar bead front sight. Collectors value this era for its one-piece steel receiver and the strength of Ithaca’s post-1963 barrel forging. The result is a well-balanced field shotgun that also carries authentic period engraving.

What’s Included
- Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight 12 Gauge shotgun
Serial-numbered to 1967 production, this shotgun predates Ithaca’s one-millionth Model 37 milestone, giving it added collector interest from a sought-after manufacturing window.
The 30-inch blued carbon-steel barrel was produced using Ithaca’s Roto-Forged process for concentric strength and is threaded with a fixed FULL choke. A Raybar orange fiber-optic bead, introduced in 1955, provides a high-visibility sight picture against varied backgrounds.
Ithaca’s signature bottom-eject design keeps spent shells and debris away from the shooter’s face while making the gun equally practical for right- or left-hand use. The 4 + 1 tubular magazine, smooth pump action, and cross-bolt safety deliver straightforward field operation.
Factory roll engraving adds upland dog artwork on the left receiver flat and a marsh waterfowl scene on the right, elevating the Featherlight above typical field-grade appearance without compromising its workhorse reputation.
