This early-1970s Wingmaster receiver forms the core of a purpose-built, tactical 12 gauge 870. A fresh tan Cerakote finish covers the steel receiver, barrel, and polymer furniture, while a full suite of modern upgrades—collapsible stock, M-LOK forend, extended magazine tube, and ghost-ring sights—bring the classic pump into today’s defensive and duty roles. The result is a compact, 6+1-round shotgun with 3" chamber and cylinder-bore barrel ready for hard use.

Specific Condition Notes: The tan Cerakote is a DIY application and displays scattered handling marks. All engravings remain clear. Bore is bright and clean.

The receiver dates to the 1968–73 “S-prefix” Wingmaster series, prized for its polished internal machining and smooth action. All original blued parts have been refinished in a uniform tan Cerakote that protects against corrosion and abrasion.
An 18.5" Turkish-made barrel brings a 3" chamber and cylinder bore, making the gun compatible with both 2 3/4" and 3" shells and ideal for defensive loads that rely on pattern spread at close ranges.
The Strike Industries aluminum M-LOK forend offers multiple attachment slots for lights or accessories, while its integrated hand stop improves control during rapid cycling. Ghost-ring sights front and rear provide a clear, fast sight picture.
An AR-style buffer tube hosts a 6-position collapsible stock, letting the user tailor length of pull from roughly 36" to 40" overall length. The polymer pistol grip adds a QD sling cup for flexible sling mounting.
An extended magazine tube raises capacity to 6+1 rounds. Combined with the shotgun’s streamlined 14.0" length of pull and upgraded ergonomics, this build delivers a modernized take on Remington’s iconic pump action.
