Launched at SHOT Show 2022, the Canik SFx Rival is purpose-built for Production Optics and Carry Optics competition. This example stands out with a factory-installed Sprinco recoil-reduction system, gold-anodized aluminum accents, and a Rival Gray Cerakote finish that covers both the slide and the polymer frame.

The SFx Rival’s optics-ready slide ships with five adapter plates, giving immediate compatibility with popular mini red-dot footprints. Aggressive lightening cuts and a window port lower reciprocating mass for faster shot-to-shot recovery, while front and rear serrations provide confident manipulation from any position.
A flat-faced aluminum trigger breaks crisply at approximately 3.8 lb with a short, tactile reset, letting competitors take full advantage of the pistol’s match-ready barrel and excellent factory sights. The red fiber-optic front blade pairs with a fully adjustable black rear, allowing precise zeroing without adding an optic.
Controls are competition-oriented: ambidextrous slide-release levers, a reversible magazine release supplied with three button sizes, and an oversized gold-anodized magwell for lightning-fast reloads. A three-slot accessory rail accommodates lights or lasers.
The installed Sprinco recoil-reduction system further tames muzzle rise, helping shooters stay on target during rapid strings while extending component life. Despite its feature set, the pistol remains IPSC Production Optics and USPSA Carry Optics compliant.
