Century Arms produced the M1P Series during the late 1980s–1990s, machining the receiver in Vermont and completing each rifle with genuine U.S. GI components. The result is a rifle that blends new manufacture with proven surplus parts, offering dependable function and collectible appeal.
The 24-inch carbon-steel barrel and gas-operated rotating-bolt mechanism deliver the traditional Garand shooting experience in .30-06 Springfield. A wing-protected post front sight and adjustable aperture rear sight provide the sight picture many marksmen know well.
The stock, handguard, and front handguard are all walnut with an oil finish, giving the rifle a period-correct look and feel. The parkerized dark-gray finish across the receiver, barrel, and metal furniture adds corrosion resistance while preserving military aesthetics.
