The heart of this rifle is an 18-inch, heavy-profile, cold-hammer-forged stainless steel barrel that is HP/MPI tested, and threaded 1/2-28 with a Daniel Defense Improved Flash Suppressor. The durable DLC exterior resists corrosion while maintaining a low-glare matte look.
A rifle-length, direct-impingement gas system feeds through a low-profile gas block concealed under the free-floating DDM4 Rail 12.0. This quad-Picatinny aluminum handguard secures with a six-bolt steel barrel nut, offering rock-solid mounting for optics and accessories.
The factory-installed Geissele SSA two-stage trigger averages a clean 4.5-lb break, giving the shooter precise control for both rapid engagement and precision fire. The lower receiver carries the Daniel Defense roll-mark with serial prefix “DDM,” while the upper features the “MK12” marking on the right side.
