Sako S20 Hunter 6.5 PRC Bolt-Action Rifle | Modular Chassis, Fluted 24-Inch Stainless Barrel, Threaded 5/8x24
The Sako S20 Hunter pairs Scandinavian precision with a modern, modular design. Built around a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis spine cloaked in tungsten-tone polymer furniture, this full-size rifle delivers sub-MOA pedigree in a platform that can shift from hunting to precision roles by swapping stocks and forends. A fluted 24-inch stainless barrel is factory-threaded 5/8x24 and topped with a Sako muzzle brake, while an integrated 0-MOA Picatinny rail is milled directly into the receiver for rock-solid optic mounting.

The heart of the S20 is its three-lug push-feed bolt with an oversized rubberised knob that cycles smoothly and locks up securely. A plunger ejector and two-position tang safety keep operation intuitive and fast.
The stainless steel receiver and barrel wear a durable tungsten-tone Cerakote finish that resists corrosion in harsh weather. A user-adjustable single-stage trigger breaks cleanly between 2–4 lb, and the adjustable trigger shoe lets shooters fine-tune reach for consistent finger placement.
Sako’s polymer Hunter stock features a thumb-hole grip, soft-touch inlays, and tool-less adjustments for length of pull and cheek height. QD sling cups and traditional sling studs give multiple carry options, while the forend accepts rails for bipods or accessories.
CIP “N 21” proof marks confirm Finnish proof testing in 2021, and the serial prefix “AJ66” identifies this rifle’s production run imported by Beretta U.S.A. The modular design means owners can swap to the Precision stock (not included) without affecting the rigid aluminium chassis core, preserving zero and maintaining accuracy.
