The bullpup layout places the action behind the grip, trimming overall length without sacrificing barrel length. This keeps handling quick while maintaining optimal velocity and pattern consistency from the 19.5" 4140 CM steel barrel.
Dual 6-round magazine tubes feed through an ambidextrous push-button selector, allowing fast transitions between loads. Standard capacity is 12 + 1 with 2 3/4" shells, and the M&P 12 accepts mini-shells for up to 20 + 1 rounds when maximum payload is required.
The threaded barrel uses the Rem-Choke pattern. A cylinder-bore profile is machined into the barrel, and the shotgun ships with a Modified tube for tighter patterns. Additional choke options install easily with the supplied wrench.
Controls are mirrored on both sides, including the safety selector, slide release, and magazine selector. A reciprocating cover with its own release aids in clearing malfunctions quickly.
Integrated M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions and a full-length top rail provide plenty of real estate for lights, lasers, and optics. The included Magpul MBUS sights fold flat until needed.
