Spike’s Tactical gave this ST-15 a hard-coat anodized finish that meets MIL-A-8625F Type III specs, ensuring long-term corrosion resistance. The spider logo shares the lower with a crisply laser-etched Department of the Navy circular crest, marking the rifle as an officially recognized tribute.
The 16-inch 4140/4150 CMV barrel is button-rifled with a 1:8 right-hand twist. This pitch stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem projectiles, from light varmint bullets to heavier match loads. A threaded muzzle (1/2-28 UNEF) lets the owner install common brakes, flash hiders, or suppressor mounts.
An aluminum, 15-inch free-float M-LOK handguard keeps weight down while providing generous rail real estate for lights, bipods, and other accessories. Because the handguard never contacts the barrel, shooters can expect improved accuracy and repeatability.
The direct-impingement operating system, low-shelf receiver machining, and 6-position collapsible stock offer compatibility and adjustability for a wide range of shooters and mission profiles. Every component—from the polymer web-pattern grip to the forged receivers—is sourced and manufactured in the USA.
