The Governor’s six-shot stainless steel cylinder is finished in matte black PVD for added corrosion resistance and a uniform look with the scandium-alloy frame. The 2.75" rifled sleeve provides reliable spin stabilization for .45 projectiles while keeping overall weight down.
A dovetail-pinned tritium front sight and trench-style rear sight deliver clear sight pictures in varied lighting, giving the shooter fast target acquisition day or night. The exposed hammer supports both double-action and single-action firing, letting the user choose a heavier defensive pull or a lighter precision shot.
Safety is handled by a transfer-bar system and a keyed internal hammer lock, allowing secure storage when needed. Finger-grooved synthetic grips offer a positive hold without adding bulk, complementing the revolver’s 30-ounce carry weight.
