Kimber KDS9c Rail 9mm Compact Double-Stack 1911 – 4.09" Match Bull Barrel, Optic-Ready Slide, Night Sights, 17+1
Released in January 2024, the KDS9c Rail is Kimber’s first double-stack 1911 variant to feature an integral Picatinny rail. Built on a lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum frame and finished in matching KimPro II Gray, it delivers 17-round capacity, carry-size dimensions, and a factory 1.5-inch accuracy guarantee at 25 yards.

This compact 1911-pattern pistol blends traditional single-action control with modern, double-stack firepower. The true 4-slot rail on the dust cover accepts lights and lasers without adding bulk, while the bob-tail frame contour enhances concealed-carry comfort.
A fully fluted, 4.09-inch match-grade bull barrel is cut from stainless steel, fitted without a bushing, and finished with a flush-cut crown for consistent lock-up. The 1:10 LH twist optimizes accuracy with 115- to 147-grain 9 mm loads.
The optic-ready slide carries tritium night sights—TruGlo TG-113 rear and a glowing front blade—giving immediate low-light visibility and an easy upgrade path to miniature red-dot sights.
Controls are built for ambidextrous use: a reversible, checkered magazine release and bilateral thumb safeties cater to left- or right-hand shooters. A skeletonized curved trigger breaks cleanly, and the matching loop hammer speeds lock time.
G10 “Hi-Text” grips in gray/OD-black lock the hand in place, complementing the pistol’s all-gray KimPro II finish for a durable, corrosion-resistant exterior.
