Factory scroll engraving with genuine gold inlay, Lone Star grip medallions, and a commemorative case label dated 11-SEP-2018 set it apart from standard production pistols. Built on a stainless-steel frame and slide, it delivers classic 1911 handling in a collectible presentation.
Condition
Overall Condition: Excellent condition, showing only faint signs of any prior use or handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Rifling Condition: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: There are minor, superficial scratches and small blemishes visible on close inspection. The bore remains clean and shiny.

Sig Sauer produced this Gold Engraved Texas edition in a short, Custom Shop run, making it a true limited-edition piece. The slide features deep scrollwork, “LONE STAR STATE” gold banners, and a Robert E. Lee quote, all laid over a polished black Nitron finish.
The stainless-steel frame wears a durable matte black hard-coat anodizing. Front-strap and mainspring-housing checkering work with the extended beavertail grip safety to give a secure, comfortable hold during live fire.
A skeletonized X-cut trigger breaks clean in single-action, while the skeletonized combat hammer speeds lock time. The pistol maintains classic Government dimensions—a 5-inch stainless barrel and an 8+1 capacity—delivering the familiar balance 1911 shooters expect.
SIGLITE tritium night sights provide a bright, three-dot sight picture in all lighting. Thumb and grip safeties, along with the robust stainless construction, round out a sidearm that is both functional and finely decorated.
