The KHX Custom OR arrives optics-ready from the factory. The slide is milled to accept Leupold, Trijicon, and Vortex footprints, allowing a direct-mount micro red dot without additional machining.
Kimber’s KimPro II gray finish covers both the slide and frame, giving uniform corrosion resistance over stainless steel components. Hexagonal serrations and top-strap milling improve purchase while lending the KHX series its distinctive look.
A 5-inch stainless, match-grade barrel is bushing-fitted for tight lock-up and consistent accuracy. Internally, a full-length guide rod promotes smooth cycling.
Truglo TFX Pro tall sights offer fiber-optic illumination in daylight and tritium glow after dark. Their extra height co-witnesses with most micro dots once installed.
