Launched in 2022, the MK3 redesign updates the iconic Five-seveN with a polymer-over-steel slide shroud that is factory milled for popular micro red-dot footprints. A Torx-screw cover plate protects the optic cut until you are ready to mount your optic.
The 4.8" cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel uses a 1:9" right-hand twist to maximize the 5.7x28mm cartridge’s flat trajectory and high velocity. Delayed-blowback operation, an internal single-action hammer, and a curved, serrated trigger contribute to a crisp, consistent break.
Ergonomics are enhanced with an enlarged, reversible magazine release and fully ambidextrous manual safety. Front and rear slide serrations provide positive traction, and a photoluminescent front dot combines with a fully adjustable rear sight—complete with elevation knob—for clear sight alignment in varied lighting.
The flat dark earth polymer frame houses an integral six-slot MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail for lights or lasers. Despite its full-size footprint and 20+1 capacity, the pistol remains lightweight and well-balanced, reflecting FN’s attention to practical duty and sport use.
