Springfield Armory 911 .380 ACP Micro 1911 Pistol – Matte Black Nitride, 2.7" Barrel, Night Sights
The Springfield Armory 911 brings true single-action 1911 handling to a micro-compact .380 platform. Built on a lightweight aluminum frame and topped with a black nitride-finished slide, this discontinued model offers night-ready sights, a crisp 5-lb trigger, and ambidextrous controls in a package that weighs just over a pound when unloaded. Early-production CC-prefix serial numbers mark this example as part of the first wave released in 2018.

Introduced in 2018 and now discontinued, the 911 is Springfield Armory's answer for shooters who prefer a traditional 1911 feel in an easily concealed package. The micro-sized platform retains a single-action, hammer-fired system with a skeletonized trigger that breaks cleanly at approximately 5 pounds.
A matte black nitride slide is paired with a 2.7-inch stainless steel barrel featuring a loaded-chamber indicator slot. Chevron-cut cocking serrations front and rear offer confident purchase, while a full-length guide rod and flat-wire recoil spring help manage recoil in this light pistol.
The 7075-T6 aluminum frame wears green/black G10 Octo-Grip panels that provide secure texture without bulk. An ambidextrous thumb safety mirrors the 1911 manual of arms, and the external hammer allows both visual and tactile status checks.
Tritium 3-dot sights keep the 911 on target in low light. The AmeriGlo Pro-Glo front sight uses a bright luminescent ring for daylight visibility, and the rear sight’s serrated tactical-rack profile supports one-handed slide manipulation.
With its early CC-prefix serial number, this pistol represents the initial production run, making it a desirable pick for users who appreciate early examples of discontinued models.
