Springfield Armory M1A Loaded .308 Win. Semi-Auto Rifle – 1999 Production, National Match Stainless Barrel, Walnut Stock
This 1999 Springfield Armory M1A Loaded pairs a National Match, medium-profile stainless barrel with a U.S.G.I. TRW bolt, delivering the accuracy-focused features collectors look for in early “Loaded” series rifles. The contrast between the in-the-white barrel and parkerized steel, combined with a full-length walnut stock and brown fiberglass handguard, gives it the classic M14 aesthetic while retaining modern match-grade performance.

- Two 20-round steel U.S.G.I. pattern magazines
The heart of this rifle is its 22-inch National Match stainless barrel, factory-installed and left in the white. Mated to Springfield’s 8620 steel receiver, it offers match-grade accuracy while resisting corrosion.
An original TRW-marked U.S.G.I. bolt (part number 7790185) is fitted, a desirable feature seldom seen on later production M1A rifles. This combination of U.S.G.I. bolt and Springfield NM barrel exemplifies the early Loaded configuration that bridged the gap between the Standard and Super Match lines.
The rifle retains the traditional gas-operated, long-stroke piston system with a rotating bolt, true to the M14 pattern. A functional bayonet lug remains on the front band, preserving the classic military profile.
Sighting is handled by a 0.062-inch National Match front blade and a match-grade rear aperture adjustable in ½-MOA increments for both windage and elevation. The included side-mount Picatinny rail allows easy optic installation without disturbing the iron sights.
The walnut stock features a filled selector cut-out and a U.S.G.I. profile, paired with a ribbed brown fiberglass upper handguard for durability under sustained fire. A two-stage, match-grade trigger rounds out the precision-oriented build.
