Colt’s LE6920 is the civilian-legal version of the U.S. military’s M4, built to the same core standards. This post-2011 example features forged receivers without the former law-enforcement-only roll mark, a 16-inch chrome-lined barrel with the correct M4 step-cut, and factory magnetic-particle-inspected bolt and barrel. Light prior handling keeps it in very good overall shape, making it an attractive choice for shooters who want a true Colt M4 pattern rifle.

This LE6920 is built on forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers finished in Type III hard-coat anodizing for durability and corrosion resistance. Colt stakes the castle nut and properly indexes the gas key to mil-spec, adding long-term reliability to the rifle’s direct-impingement action.
The 16-inch CMV steel barrel is chrome lined from chamber to muzzle, giving excellent wear resistance and easier cleaning. Its 1:7 twist stabilizes the full range of 5.56 NATO projectiles, and the 1/2-28 threads accept standard muzzle devices or suppressor mounts.
Mil-Spec furniture includes a six-position collapsible stock, A2 pistol grip, and ribbed two-piece polymer handguards. The flat-top upper provides a Picatinny rail for optics, while the rifle ships with an A2 front sight post and detachable dual-aperture flip-up rear sight for out-of-the-box accuracy.
The M4 step-cut barrel is compatible with an M203 launcher for users who require that capability. Colt’s magnetic-particle-inspected bolt and barrel ensure structural integrity, adding collector and shooter confidence.
