Winchester produced roughly 800,000 Model 1906 rifles between 1906 and 1932, and this late “B” suffix rifle dates to the 1927–1928 production range while the receiver stamp indicates a 1923 manufacture. The “B” subclass marks the final refinement of the Standard variant and is sought after by collectors tracking serial progression.
The rifle retains its original 20" blued steel barrel, tubular magazine, and takedown mechanism secured by a knurled bolt. This design allows quick separation of barrel assembly from the receiver for compact transport or cleaning—an early Winchester convenience feature that remains practical today.
