CVA Optima Gen 1 .50 Cal Break-Action Inline Muzzleloader with 26" Barrel
This first-generation CVA Optima was produced in Spain by Dikar and represents the original Optima design sold from 2002 to 2012. It features a 26" carbon-steel barrel, break-open inline action with 209-primer ignition, and a lightweight aluminum-alloy frame. A camo synthetic stock with Monte Carlo comb and factory CrushZone recoil pad rounds out a configuration aimed at straightforward handling and recoil control.

What’s Included
- CVA Optima Gen 1 .50 cal muzzleloader rifle
- Integrated aluminum scope rail
The break-action design opens easily via a trigger-guard lever, giving direct access for loading and quick primer placement. This inline system streamlines ignition while keeping the breech accessible for cleaning and inspection.
The 26" carbon-steel barrel carries a 1:28" right-hand twist, a rate compatible with modern saboted bullets and conicals in .50 caliber muzzleloaders. The matte-blued finish helps cut glare in the field.
The black-anodized aluminum frame reduces overall weight while maintaining rigidity. An external spur hammer provides positive control and clear status indication.
The camo synthetic stock is ambidextrous and fitted with a rubber CrushZone recoil pad to soften shoulder impact. Molded sling-swivel studs allow easy attachment of a carry sling.
Although sights are not installed, the factory scope rail accommodates a wide range of optic mounts, giving the shooter flexibility in sighting options.
