This U.S.–built Riley Defense RAK-47 C-L combines classic AKM styling with modern manufacturing throughout. A thicker 1.5 mm stamped receiver, forged bolt, carrier, and trunnion provide a solid foundation, while the 4150 nitrided barrel resists corrosion and is threaded 14×1 LH for muzzle devices. Side-mounted optics rail, bolt-hold-open safety lever, and extended magazine release add practical upgrades, all wrapped in eye-catching red laminate wood furniture.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Good – Clean, well-maintained, minor wear marks.
Rifling: Good Rifling – Intact, well-defined lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor superficial scratches and blemishes are visible on the metal and wood surfaces. Bore is clean and shiny with only light, infrequent pitting observed.

The RAK-47 C-L is a 100% U.S.–manufactured AKM clone, meeting all parts-count requirements without imported components. Forged bolt, carrier, and trunnion enhance longevity compared with cast parts often found on economy builds.
Its 16.25-inch 4150 nitride-treated barrel offers improved wear and corrosion resistance over standard chrome lining, and the 1:10 twist stabilizes the full range of 7.62x39 projectiles. The barrel is threaded 14×1 LH, ready for brakes, flash hiders, or suppressor adapters.
The stamped steel receiver is 1.5 mm thick for added rigidity and includes an integral side optics rail, making it easy to mount modern glass while retaining traditional iron sights. A bolt-hold-open notch in the safety lever speeds reloads and visual chamber checks.
Red laminate wood stock and handguards give the rifle a distinctive, retro look, complemented by a brown Bakelite-style polymer pistol grip. An extended magazine release and bayonet lug round out the classic yet functional feature set.
