This 16-inch model ships with ambidextrous controls, a Matchlite Duo two-stage trigger, and SIG’s quick-change barrel architecture, giving shooters a versatile, duty-ready rifle right out of the box.

Built on a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set finished in Coyote FDE Cerakote, the MCX-SPEAR LT eliminates the traditional buffer tube, allowing its alloy/steel stock to fold flat for compact transport while still offering a rubber buttpad for recoil control.
The 16-inch cold-hammer-forged carbon-steel barrel features a medium contour, 1:7 RH twist, and 1/2-28 threads capped with a QD three-prong flash hider that interfaces directly with SIG suppressors. The short-stroke piston system keeps fouling out of the action and supports the rifle’s quick-change barrel design for future caliber conversions.
A 13.3-inch free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots at every quadrant and a full-length Picatinny top rail, giving ample real estate for optics, lights, and accessories. Flip-up iron sights are included and sit flush when stowed.
Ambidextrous bolt catch/release, mag release, safety selector, and dual charging handles make the SPEAR LT immediately usable for right- or left-handed shooters. The flat-faced Matchlite Duo trigger breaks cleanly at approximately 4.5 lb, supporting accurate rapid fire.
