The Pit Viper is built on a carbon-steel 1911 frame and slide, both finished in black DLC for extreme surface hardness and corrosion resistance. Directional serrations and slide windows lighten the slide and aid manipulation, while “fangs” stand-off cuts on the dust cover add practical close-quarters utility.
Its 4.9-inch DLC-coated, match-grade carbon-steel barrel is ported and houses the fixed fiber-optic sight on an island section that remains motionless during cycling, delivering faster sight recovery. The integrated single-port compensator further mitigates muzzle rise for flat shooting.
Internally, the pistol employs an Extreme Engineering LiteSpeed fire-control set and a skeletonized trigger for a crisp, light pull. An Aftec self-adjusting extractor enhances reliability with varied ammunition, and an extended magazine release speeds reloads.
