The Gen 2 series adds Ruger’s hybrid radial/side-port muzzle brake threaded 5/8-24, cutting felt recoil while preserving the rifle’s balance.
The three-lug bolt with dual cocking cams cycles smoothly, and the oversized bolt knob offers positive control even with gloved hands. A handy storage compartment inside the bolt shroud keeps the included hex key ready for on-the-fly adjustments.
The one-piece 7075-T6 aluminum chassis mates to a 15-inch free-float KeyMod handguard, keeping accessories clear of barrel contact. An integral 20-slot Picatinny rail comes pre-installed for optics, complemented by additional rail space on the stock’s underside.
Ruger’s Marksman Adjustable trigger lets the shooter set pull weight from 2.25 to 5 pounds, while the ambidextrous 45-degree safety and AR-style grip ensure familiar, intuitive controls.
A multi-magazine interface accepts both AICS and SR-25 pattern magazines, and this rifle ships with a Magpul PMAG 10 to get you on the range immediately.
