What’s Included
- Winchester Model 1300 Defender 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun
Winchester’s rotating-bolt “Speed Pump” system is known for its smooth, rapid follow-up shots. Combined with a 3" chamber and a cylinder-bore 18.5" barrel, this Defender handles both full-power buckshot and reduced-recoil loads without adjustment.
The factory extended magazine tube holds seven 2 ¾" shells (or six 3" shells), giving the shooter ample capacity while keeping overall length manageable for home-defense or patrol use.
Hardwood furniture sets this later-production Defender apart from synthetic-stock versions. The corn-cob fore-end and straight-grained buttstock wear a satin varnish and are capped by a Winchester-marked rubber recoil pad and a rear sling-swivel stud for easy carry.
A brass bead front sight offers a simple, durable aiming point. All metal surfaces wear Winchester’s matte blued finish, and the alloy receiver keeps overall weight down without sacrificing strength.
