Colt LE6920 5.56mm NATO Semi-Automatic AR-15 Rifle, 16-Inch Chrome-Lined Barrel, 6-Position Stock
Colt’s LE6920 is widely regarded as the civilian-legal counterpart to the U.S. military’s M4 Carbine, and this 2013 example retains all of the mil-spec features that make the model desirable. Forged 7075-T6 receivers, a chrome-lined 1:7 RH twist barrel, and M4 feed ramps combine to deliver proven durability and reliability. With its bayonet-capable A-frame front sight and genuine Colt “C MP” magnetic-particle-inspected barrel markings, this rifle offers collectors and shooters an authentic, factory-built platform.

Built on the proven direct-impingement AR-15 platform, the LE6920 features a 16-inch, 4150 CMV steel barrel with a chrome-lined bore for extended service life and easy cleaning. The M4 step-cut profile keeps weight balanced while still accepting grenade rings and standard accessories.
Forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers receive Colt’s hard-coat anodizing with a dry-film lubricant for added corrosion resistance. Mil-spec controls and M4 feed ramps ensure compatibility with standard parts and reliable cycling with a wide range of ammunition.
The carbine-length gas system is paired with a two-piece ribbed polymer handguard that stays cool during rapid strings of fire. A six-position telescoping stock with an integral sling loop allows quick length-of-pull adjustments, while the A2 pistol grip provides familiar ergonomics.
Factory iron sights include an A-frame front sight base with bayonet lug and a detachable folding rear sight, giving the shooter immediate usability out of the box and a flat top rail for optics when desired.
Produced in 2013, this rifle falls within the final production run before Colt rebranded the series as the CR6920, making it a notable example for collectors seeking an LE-marked carbine with original roll marks and barrel stampings.
