The heart of this firearm is the Encore break-action receiver, machined from carbon steel and finished in matte bluing for a low-glare profile. The design allows quick barrel changes, letting owners swap calibers with ease.
An aftermarket Bergara barrel, produced between 2006 and 2012, comes installed. At 24 inches with a standard contour and blued steel construction, it balances handling and velocity while maintaining the Encore’s signature accuracy potential.
The rifle sports a satin-finished walnut Monte Carlo buttstock and matching forend. Checkering is absent, keeping the wood clean and traditional, while a ventilated recoil pad adds comfort during bench sessions.
An external hammer controls the single-shot, break-open action. The 15.0-inch length of pull suits most adult shooters, and the overall full-size footprint makes the rifle steady from field positions or a bench rest.
A factory-installed scope rail tops the barrel, providing an immediate mounting point for optics without additional gunsmithing.
