Thompson/Center designed the Icon series around a three-lug, spiral-fluted bolt with a short 60° throw, allowing quick cycling while maintaining generous scope clearance. The action locks into the I-Blok aluminum bedding block, creating a stable platform that helps the 24-inch barrel realize the full benefits of its 5R rifling and recessed target crown.
The Classic Walnut variant showcases a satin oil-finished walnut stock with fine checkering, a right-hand palm swell, and a soft rubber recoil pad. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches, giving most shooters a comfortable, repeatable shoulder weld.
A user-adjustable single-stage trigger lets the owner fine-tune pull weight for hunting or bench work. The two-position rocker safety includes a bolt-lock feature, adding another layer of security during field carry.
