The heart of this M1 is Benelli’s Inertia-Driven operating system. During firing, recoil energy compresses a spring within the bolt carrier; after shot exit, the stored energy unlocks the rotating bolt head and cycles the action smoothly—no gas system to foul or adjust.
The 18.5-inch steel barrel is chrome-lined for corrosion resistance and wears a phosphate exterior finish. It is threaded for an included improved-cylinder choke, offering versatile pattern performance straight from the box.
A matte black hard-anodized aluminum alloy receiver keeps weight manageable while remaining durable. The receiver top is smooth and undrilled, ready for an aftermarket optics rail or saddle mount if desired.
Controls are straightforward: a cross-bolt safety, rotating bolt head that locks directly into the barrel extension, and a fixed pistol-grip stock with a 14.5-inch length of pull. The slim one-piece synthetic forend provides a firm, heat-resistant grip under rapid fire.
This model holds 5+1 rounds of 12-gauge ammunition and ships with a factory fixed triangular front sight. A ghost-ring rear sight base is present but the rear sight itself is not installed, allowing the next owner to configure the sighting system to preference.
