Its island compensator and FlaTec engineering keep muzzle rise minimal, while a 5-inch bull barrel and optic-ready slide deliver fast follow-up shots. Built on a 4140 billet-steel frame with a DLC finish, this Georgetown-made pistol offers premium fit, finish, and shootability right out of the box.

The XC’s integrated island compensator is cut from the same billet as the barrel, channeling gases through top ports to keep the dot flat during rapid strings. Lightening cuts in the slide further reduce reciprocating mass, enhancing the pistol’s fast-tracking feel.
A skeletonized aluminum trigger breaks at a crisp 2.5 lb, and ambidextrous thumb safeties plus a grip safety provide familiar 1911 controls on a modern, double-stack frame. The Gen 2 polymer grip module features aggressive stippling for sure handling and can be swapped without gunsmithing.
The slide ships with a Dawson Precision fiber-optic front sight and serrated rear sight on Staccato’s optic-ready plate system, allowing direct mounting of today’s popular micro red-dots. A tool-less guide-rod makes cleaning straightforward, and each pistol leaves the factory with a proof target and QC signature for verified accuracy.
