The SL8-6 stands out for its cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined 20.8" heavy barrel that is free-floating for consistent point of impact. Owners regularly report sub-MOA groups when matched with quality ammunition.
HK’s short-stroke gas piston system keeps fouling out of the receiver and offers smooth, reliable cycling. The ambidextrous folding charging handle and manual safety selector make the rifle user-friendly for both right- and left-handed shooters.
The polymer thumb-hole stock features an adjustable cheekpiece and removable butt-spacer system, allowing a custom length of pull. Combined with the match trigger, the configuration encourages precise shot control.
A full-length Picatinny top rail comes installed from the factory, ready for optics or night-vision devices. The polymer handguard with elongated cooling slots accepts the included vertical foregrip and keeps barrel heat away from the support hand.
Produced in smaller numbers than the earlier gray SL8-1, this black SL8-6 offers both collectibility and modern performance in the same package.
