This FX-9 P6SBA3 brings Freedom Ordnance’s compact AR-9 engineering to a 6-inch–barreled pistol that feeds from Glock-pattern magazines. Purpose-built billet receivers, a straight blowback action, and a factory last-round bolt-hold-open system deliver reliable performance in a short, suppressor-ready package.

The FX-9 platform starts with shortened 7075-T6 billet receivers—about one inch shorter than a standard AR-15—making this pistol easier to maneuver while maintaining familiar controls. Both upper and lower wear a durable Type III hard-coat anodized finish.
Its 6-inch 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel is QPQ nitrided for corrosion resistance and sports 1/2-28 threads, ready for suppressors or other muzzle devices. A free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard with a full-length top Picatinny rail offers ample space for optics and accessories without adding unnecessary weight.
The straight blowback action pairs a nitrided one-piece bolt with a standard AR-style mag release and bolt catch, giving users intuitive operation and a factory last-round bolt-hold-open feature when using Glock magazines.
Out back, the SBA3 brace provides secure one-handed support while keeping the overall footprint minimal. An A2-style polymer pistol grip rounds out the familiar control layout.
