What’s Included
- Springfield Armory Hellion owner’s manual
- Springfield Armory branded soft case
- Magpul PMAG polymer AR-pattern magazine
The Hellion’s short-stroke gas-piston system features a two-position regulator that lets you switch instantly between normal and suppressed settings without tools.
Controls are fully ambidextrous: magazine release, safety selector, and non-reciprocating charging handle all operate from either side. The ejection port can be reversed by the user, ensuring brass exits where you want it.
Its 4150 CMV steel barrel is cold hammer forged, Melonite treated for corrosion resistance, and threaded 1/2x28 for standard muzzle devices or suppressors. A non-reciprocating, fold-forward charging handle doubles as a forward assist.
A full-length numbered Picatinny top rail carries built-in flip-up sights: a five-aperture rear adjustable for windage and a front post adjustable for elevation. The polymer M-LOK handguard and BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 grip provide modern accessory and ergonomic options.
Designed and produced by HS Produkt in Croatia, the Hellion is the commercial evolution of the VHS-2 rifle currently issued to Croatian armed forces, offering U.S. shooters battle-proven reliability in a streamlined bullpup configuration.
