This Aero Precision M5 receiver set gives builders a solid foundation for an AR-10 platform rifle. Both the stripped upper and stripped lower are forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, match in high-profile DPMS LR-308 geometry, and wear a durable matte black hard-coat anodized finish. Lowers are legally the firearm, and this one includes an Aero Precision MOE lower parts kit (minus the fire-control group) plus a Magpul MOE grip, making it easy to complete a quality .308 build.

The M5 lower follows the DPMS Gen-1 LR-308 pattern, ensuring broad compatibility with AR-10 parts and accessories. Its integral enlarged trigger guard improves access when wearing gloves, and the nylon-tipped tension screw lets you fine-tune the upper-to-lower fit.
A threaded bolt-catch pin simplifies installation while reducing the chance of receiver damage. Selector pictogram icons are cleanly engraved on both sides, providing clear visual status without distracting text.
The matching M5 upper features a laser-engraved, T-marked Picatinny rail for consistent optic placement. High-profile rail height aligns perfectly with the lower, eliminating the stepped transition seen on mixed-profile builds.
Both receivers are machined in the USA from 7075-T6 forged aluminum and anodized to a uniform matte black. The result is a rigid, corrosion-resistant set ready to handle the pressures of .308 Winchester and other compatible calibers.
