Meridian Defense MDC-47 “Pestilence” Apocalypse Series 7.62x39 Limited-Edition AKM Rifle
This Special Projects Division “Four Horsemen” Pestilence rifle marries Meridian Defense’s modern engineering with battle-worn character. Individually numbered and built on a proven AKM platform, it features a hand-distressed satin-grey finish, refinished Romanian hardwood furniture, and a proprietary combo gas-block/front sight that extends a continuous optic rail. Limited production and custom touches make this full-size 7.62x39 stand out to shooters and collectors alike.

Overall Condition: Excellent – showing only faint signs of prior use or handling.
Bore Condition: Excellent – clean, mirror finish with sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: Minor, superficial scratches and blemishes are present on the exterior surfaces; the bore remains shiny and well-maintained.

The limited-edition Pestilence variant is part of Meridian Defense’s coveted “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” series, and each rifle is individually numbered to mark its place in the run.
Hand-distressed metalwork in battle-worn satin grey contrasts with Romanian hardwood furniture that has been restained in a deep Apocalypse tone and numbered “74.” The left side of the receiver bears the octopus emblem engraving of the Special Projects Division.
A CNC-machined combo gas-block/front sight pairs with an Ultimak-style railed gas tube, creating a continuous top rail for optics while preserving a compact sight radius. A left-side receiver rail offers an additional optics-mounting option.
The 16.5" threaded barrel uses the common 14×1 LH pattern and is capped with a pinned/welded three-port rectangular muzzle brake, keeping overall length legal while taming recoil and muzzle rise.
