Introduced in 2024, the Carry Comp line adds the Performance Center PowerPort integral compensator and ClearSight slide window to the proven M&P9 M2.0 platform. Gas ports at the muzzle vent upward to counteract recoil, while the top window shaves weight for faster slide return.
The 4.25" stainless-steel barrel is ported and finished in durable Armornite. Matched with a striker-fired action and 1:10" RH twist, it delivers consistent accuracy with standard-pressure or +P 9 mm loads.
The grey Armornite slide is cut for S&W’s CORE optics plate system, allowing direct mounting of today’s popular mini red dots. Tall night sights (tritium front, blackout rear) give a clear co-witness sight picture when an optic is installed.
A Performance Center flat-face trigger with a polished striker sear provides a crisp, predictable break. Front and rear cocking serrations, an enlarged magazine-well funnel, and interchangeable palmswell grips support confident handling under stress.
Capacity is 23 + 1 with the extended magazines or 17 + 1 with the flush-fit mags. The full-size polymer frame includes an accessory rail for lights or lasers, rounding out a package ready for duty, competition, or home defense.
